Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Initiative (“Initiative,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website (initiativegrowth.com), our sales and marketing activities, and the services we provide to our clients. By using our website or otherwise interacting with Initiative, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Initiative operates as a business growth and customer-acquisition company. Our registered business details are provided on request at support@initiativegrowth.com.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
When you fill out a form on our website (for example, a “Get Started” or proposal-request form), contact us by email or phone, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your company name and website
- Business details you provide, such as approximate revenue band, what you’re looking to improve, and how you heard about us
- Any other information you choose to include in a message to us
Website Information
Our website is built on standard web hosting and content-delivery infrastructure, which may automatically log limited technical information as part of normal server operation - for example, approximate request timestamps, browser/device type, and pages requested. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics tracking cookies on our website. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such tracking begins.
CRM Information
When you engage with us as a prospect or client, information you provide (directly or through conversations with our team) is recorded in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, which we currently operate through Close CRM. This may include contact details, notes from calls and meetings, communication history, and the status of your engagement with us.
Communications
If you contact us, respond to our outreach, or engage with us as a client, we retain records of that communication - including emails, call notes, and text messages - in order to respond to you, manage our relationship with you, and maintain accurate business records.
SMS / Text Messaging
Where Initiative communicates with you by SMS/text message, we only do so in connection with a business relationship or conversation you have had with us (for example, following a phone call or a form submission where you provided your mobile number for that purpose), or where you have otherwise given consent through a compliant opt-in mechanism.
Mobile information and SMS opt-in/consent information will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share such information with service providers who help us deliver, manage, or support our communications (for example, our CRM/messaging platform provider) solely for the purpose of providing those services to us - not for those providers’ own marketing use.
You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further text messages from us, and HELP for assistance. See our Terms of Service for additional detail on our SMS program.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide information you request
- Evaluate potential fit between your business and our services
- Communicate with you about our services, proposals, and ongoing client work
- Deliver and manage our services to clients
- Maintain accurate business, CRM, and financial records
- Improve our website, offer, and sales process
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
Service Providers
We work with a limited number of third-party service providers who process information on our behalf to help us operate our business, including:
- Customer relationship management and messaging (Close CRM)
- Scheduling (Calendly)
- Website hosting, email delivery, and infrastructure (Cloudflare)
- Payment processing, where applicable to a client engagement
These providers are only authorized to use your information as necessary to provide services to Initiative, not for their own independent marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain our business relationship with you, respond to your inquiries, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and support legitimate business record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your information and we have no legal or legitimate business reason to retain it, we will do so.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@initiativegrowth.com. You can also opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, and opt out of email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism included in our emails.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
